Sam is a doctoral candidate. National, California and Michigan state licensed acupuncturist with more than 6,000 hours of academic and clinical training in Chinese medicine theory, western medicine, acupuncture, herbology and nutrition. An undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with an emphasis in Holistic Health. She went on to receive her Masters degree from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine the oldest and most prestigious school for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the U.S. with extensive training in orthopedics, pain management, sports medicine, internal medicine, mental health, and facial rejuvenation. While at Zhejiang Medical University in Hang Zhou province located in Eastern China, Sam furthered her knowledge in orthopedic acupuncture along with ancient Chinese technique. Currently she is working on her doctorate from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Sam’s passion is truly helping men and women understand their bodies to ultimately enhance their quality of life. Using ancient Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, Cupping, Moxa, and Gua Sha, Sam blends ancient healing medicine with modern modalities such as electro-stimulation, vitamins, supplements, nutritional advice and functional medicine. With a mix of old and new, each treatment is tailored to fit the individual and their current state of health and to implement change for the patient’s overall well being. Ultimately, each treatment aims to reduce pain, increase mobility, heighten relaxation as well as to increase awareness while the body and mind are able to reset.
